Concerted effort for
street social work

Dynamo International - Street Workers Network Asia Region

Dynamo International Street Workers Network (DISWN) is an international network bringing together 57 national platforms, representing over 1,600 organisations and 10,000 street social workers across Africa, the Americas, Asia and Europe.

The network aims to promote social street work in its specific professional approaches, strengthen the capacities of practitioners, and carry their voices to political and institutional decision-makers in order to generate structural and sustainable responses to the challenges faced by people living in street situations, particularly children and young people.

Through exchange of practices, capacity building, international solidarity and advocacy, and guided by shared values of social justice, participation and respect for diversity, DISWN works to ensure that the rights of people in street situations are recognised and protected, and that social street work is fully integrated into public policies worldwide.

As international committee of International Street Work Conference and Pilot Group Meeting 2026, Dynamo International - Street Workers Network (DISWN) Asia Region strives to create impactful network of Street Work through training, exchange of best practice, and production of education tools within Asia Region.
